I'm Pip
Writer. Physio. Student. Overanalyser. Northern Irish. Procrastinator. Lover of food, all food. Traveller. Jesus fan. Mistake maker. Hoper.
Welcome to my website. Thanks for stopping by.
My hope is that on this website, through my writing, you will find something that makes you think that you're not the only one who has ever felt what you feel.
I'm was born in Northern Ireland, where it rains, I would guess 363 days of the year. I spent the last 6 or so years about as far away from there as possible, in the land of rugby, hobbits, sheep and funny accents (my name is Pip, not Pup). New Zealand. Along the way, I left a little bit of my heart in South Africa. Now, I've somehow found myself in the North East corner of England.
I'm a physiotherapist by trade, a student by current activity and a writer at heart. Each thing has its advantages. In writing, unlike in physio, you don't have to touch feet. Occasionally in physio, you do get to touch All Blacks; not so much in writing. In studying, you get to think big thoughts and contemplate ways to save the world.
My first book, "Speed Bumps and Roundabouts: Lessons I've Learned on the Journey" is the culmination of many of the thoughts I've thought as I've journeyed through the past few years.
Have a read of my blog; you will find thoughts about moving forwards, about how we get from where we were or where we are to where we want to go or where we should be.
Sometimes I get fed up of just hearing my thoughts though, so I would love to know yours...
